History of Regency House Imports
Regency House Imports was founded in 1946 in San Francisco
by our grandfather E.M. Griffith and our great-grandmother Helen
Larsen Atkinson. Our great-grandmother, an interior designer
living in Europe following World War II, was able to purchase
furnishings from great European homes and ship them to San Francisco
for resale in our grandfather’s antique shop on Pacific
Avenue. Her finds included glorious furnishings and decorative
